Sacrament of Reconciliation

Confessions are offered on Saturdays from 3:30-4 PM. Other times may be scheduled by appointment.
Communal Reconciliation is offered during the
seasons of Advent and Lent.

First Reconciliation

In accordance with the norms of the Diocese of LaCrosse preparation for First Reconciliation is celebrated in the second grade prior to First Holy Communion. Students should be enrolled in St. James Catholic School or parish Religious Education program. Special Sacrament sessions may be available for students who are beyond these grades and are still in need of the sacraments. Reconciliation is offered to Religious Education
students grades 2-10 during the Lenten season.
The RCIA process is available for adults who
missed the sacramental preparation.

Requirements for First Reconciliation include:
  • Regular attendance in Parish School or Religious Education Program
     
  • Parent Meeting
     
  • Participation in Reconciliation Centers for parents and students
     
  • Completion of Together in Jesus activity lessons
     
  • Attend First Reconciliation Program
