CHILDREN’S LITURGY OF THE WORD
Duties: Help the children understand and connect to the Gospel as read from the Children’s Gospel book.
Time Commitment: Children’s Liturgy of the Word happens at the 10am Mass, the second and fourth Sunday of each month. Children are dismissed with their facilitators, after the opening prayer. They return to church after the homily, as we begin the preparation time. Total time is about 20 minutes.
Training: On the job training with another experienced facilitator. Back up material and information is also available.
Length of Service: Please try to make a one year commitment for scheduling purposes.
